When friends stop responding to texts or emails, they call it ‘going dark’.
My last story, “Paradigm” must have been ‘dark worthy’, or…TMI…or no time for reading…or my readers were out enjoying these summer days.
Or…perhaps it was the part about my naivety in not realizing I had a sociopath/narcissist for my first teacher! I have no idea.
I guess my friends have ‘gone dark.’
This time, however, rather than feel badly about myself, I understood the silence to be a gift.
It provided an opportunity for me to trust my form of expression and move on to bask in the quietness of my own company.
I have also ridden Luna a lot and have been enjoying her sweet presence.

Hey darlin’, In my case I am behind on all emails. Sigh. So I just got to the Paradigm one this morning (not sure when you sent it out originally) and I was looking for it to reread when I found this one. I am glad to hear you’re not taking it personally.
Some thoughts about the pardigm one; 1.) I went to a bunch of workshops back in the day thinking answers were there in the information disseminated. What I learned over time was that the answers were in the form of relationships/friendships that happened in those contexts.
I also thought about my favorite Ram Dass quote, “When you think you’re enlighted, spend two weeks with your family of origin.” For me it usually took five days. Just sayin’. Life seems to be qute humbling at times.
As far as antidepressants go, I say, “Better living through chemistry.”, and, “honor your incarnation.”. We have these drugs these days and I find the corrrect dosage helpful. At this stage of the game I am looking to make my life easier rather than add unnecessary challenges.
