Da Boys – chapter 14 – da last

It was a rainy day in May of 2021 when we arrived for lunch with Susie and a visit with the donks.

They were obviously thriving and happy in their new gorgeous digs. I decided to be the record keeper as Carol went to apply love to Styx and Louie.

I couldn’t hear their voices, but Carol told me later they live in the present moment and only wondered who the tall one was with the clicking box.

The phrase ‘chopped liver’ came to my mind!

Several years later, Susie and her husband moved off the continental US and the boys found their way to living with their favorite farrier, Eryn. They even have a pet cat!

The little gangster and the British gentleman are now and forever living the dream – a 100-acre pasture with an apple orchard and all the food and love they can handle.
