SNOW     12.6.25

We had a wonderful storm this week. It was all I could do not to cancel appointments and go take photographs. Luckily the snow continued throughout the day, and I was able to shoot.

The images remind me of all the old fairy tales set in winters snow. The sense of winter is magical for many kids who grew up where it snowed, me included.

A deep quiet settles over the earth as the snow falls.

The light takes on a different quality.

Ordinary trees and water look like something other-worldly.

The world feels enchanted.

Next time it snows, go outside, stick out your tongue and catch some flakes.

Let yourself be enchanted.
