Prayer flags are flown in many cultures and in many places. From mountain tops to back yards, these flags offer peace, harmony, positive energy and blessings. The wind spreads these invisible prayers to people who suffer, to the earth below, as well as those of us who go through dark or lonely times.
I view my daily practice of posting an image as my way of offering a prayer in a troubled world and a reminder of our connection to each other, the earth and our own communities.
At the risk of blinding you, the color of these berries is real! They are food for birds in addition to their stunning color. As I looked closely, I realized the fuzzy clump on the right side of the image was the birth of another berry!
