Breathing is something we do automatically. Under stress, we breathe more shallowly in little puffs as we hurry from one thing to the next. There is no doubt we are living in busy and stressful times.

A few years ago, I wrote a story called Roadside Attractions. It was a rare time of abundant moisture and flowers along the roads were spectacular.
