many apologies

Oh, my goodness! It has finally dawned on me; this WordPress blog has multiple flaws! Yikes! I am so sorry!

I have heard from some of you, about the impossibility of “SUBSCRIBING”. I know, the box is only available on the “Home” page. And it doesn’t always work!

If you chose to “Follow” vs. “Subscribe” you are being told you have to log into your WordPress account, even though you don’t have one.

Additionally, some of you, who have tried to add a comment, have found your words either disappeared when you hit “Reply”. OR it failed to work at all!

In collaborating with my friend, who set this up with me, we learned, that I needed to upgrade from the ‘basic plan’ in order to add a “Subscribe” box to the “Blog” page. I declined at the time, figuring it was just a small problem. Now, I imagine it is probably the same reason the comments won’t work for some of you. AARRRGGGG!

Stories & Pictures started as a simple way for me to record my personal journey, in service of ‘the examined life’, and share my photographs, because – who doesn’t like pictures?  Instead, for some of my dearest friends, it has become a technical “social media” nightmare.

For now, I propose a ‘work around.’ If you are having any issues with the above, please email me personally with the problem.

I will create a list (for me only) of your addresses and will send you the link when I publish a story. If you would like to comment and are unable to, just email it to me, I’ll copy and paste it in, and attribute it with your first name only.
