I awaken from a dream of a place I don’t remember. As I try to catch the meaning, it fades like the mists of remembrance in the light of dawn.

I hear a kind voice in my head – one much wiser than I am.

“Yes, child, listen. Let your mind spin into the Mystery of life – love – our connection to the web of this vast universe.” Tears dampen my face.

Each day, as I walk, light attracts my eye, like a crow to a scrap of tin foil. I hear a voice whispering, “Look here.”

Light feels like a prayer to notice the beauty that is already there. Or maybe it is Spirits way of revealing the truth of our existence.

This art form, my photos, freeze a moment in time in order to explore beneath the surface. To contemplate, “What wants to be revealed?” “What lies beneath the obvious?”

Take in these words with a soft ear. Listen to the voice in your heart as you allow the image to speak to you. Let the light call you into a contemplative space. Enjoy the blessing that surround us all.

Wow! Wonderful and spirit filled! So much of my looking at nature & photos is trying to see, or guess, imagine, what is on the other side of leaves. A butterfly? An apple ready to pick? The loveliest item of the day? The imagination is busy! Love the photos, as usual. !!! ❤️. Love, T

Dear Elizabeth:
Your blending of images and words is always enlightening and uplifting. We donât need recent medical studies to prove the infusion of natureâs sights, sounds, and smells works wonders on our minds and bodies. Although a harsher world than one your art reveals, the high lonesome also has its restorative and challenging qualities. Hereâs a view of our last field study late August for the nascent first responder wilderness training program weâre preparing for next year.

thank you, wow, I’m breathless from this extraordinary glimpse into the beauty you have captured. I say thank you because it centered me just when I needed that experience. A journey that combines and connects and unearths the mysteries of creation. What a gift you have for showing us the hidden beauty of ourselves and nature.
