I know since 2020, just about everyone has contracted this terrible virus-except me. My number must have come up as it crashed in on my system Wednesday night. I will not elucidate on the gory events of the next 5 days, but it was intense.
Hence, a break in the Donkey stories.
However, I dedicate this story to my amazing nursing staff, Maisie and Billy.
They steadfastly watched over me every day and night.
Whether under my reading chair………
Either alone or together.
Or as I lay on the Bemer mat……………
Or while trying to rest during the day.
My thanks and gratitude shine out on them.
