Change is the nature of the Universe. It was with heavy hearts that Carol and I bid farewell to Styx and Louie. The last we saw they were safely ensconced in the Gold Box with their little knapsacks packed heading with Susie to their new home in southern Colorado.
We offer our gratitude for all they gave us and hope you have enjoyed the stories & pictures.
We surely enjoyed their antics, humor and voices and hope to visit them in their new home. We send them off with love and smiles.

Their official, real rescue mom and the one who paid for all their room, board and other expenses was Susie. She and her husband wanted to build a horse property on land they had in Salida. Carol and I each had our own horses and houses in the Golden area and could neither move nor adopt them both together. I’ll write a brief story about our first visit to see them. Love E
