Seeing things   12/1/25

For as long as I can remember, I have always seen things that others don’t seem to notice. Most of them make me smile. It started with grandmother’s old telephone.

Old Telephone – I saw a daffodil

The one everyone does is to see things in the clouds. They provide a rich pallet for the imagination. In the early mornings, one of my cats stands watch at the kitchen window.

Over the past couple of months, a friend and I have been sharing cloud pictures and assigning names to them.

Swimming Salmon
One Egg Over Easy
Pink Teddy Bear Butts
Large Cloud Birthing Contact Lenses

Daytime clouds are always fun.

Sharks Chasing a Dolphin
‘Stairway to Heaven’
Spaceship

Now, especially with the convenience of grabbing my iPhone, my ‘a little-left-of-center’ way of seeing things has continued.

Spider on a Lampshade
Corduroy

Over the years, I have deleted most goofy images, however, here are more recent ones with my captions.

Macramé
Modest Model
Full Moon Through a Rainy Window
Our Lady of Guadalupe
Snowflakes
Sea Urchin

As you observe your world, what do you see?

Bonsai

Linger a bit, have fun, enjoy seeing differently.

A Cave to Explore
Clouds on Fire

‘A little-left-of-center’ can be fun. Let your imagination fly!

  1. This is one of the fun ones!!!! It shows your humor, your creativity, your eye, and how much fun you can make the simple things….just by lookin’ a little left-of-center. Keep on naming, E! A true delight! ❤️
