I am halfway through posting during my 30-day practice. It has helped me to remember there is also beauty as the disturbing news continues. I think I have chosen a worthy companion, our earth, to walk beside me – and you.
I love the play of light here, the warmth of different kinds of wood, and with a bike and canoe for up close play in nature.

Love the rim light on the ladder!!!!! a totally thought provoking and peaceful image.

It’s giving me trouble again about logging in. Anyway it did the same thing yesterday. I’m just going to email my comments.
Here are my thoughts re post 16:

Evocative of Wyeth’s subtle magic with exquisite detail and warm light that strum the chords of memory about things and people that mattered in the past: Thoreau, Frost, Winslow Homer, my canine companion Journey lost to a car accident Christmas Eve.

Evocative and poignant, Bill.
I didn’t realize you lost Journey on Christmas eve. I’m so sorry.

We’re still working through a canyon of grief: seven years of camaraderie, outdoor adventure, humor, hunting fields, training challenges, mischievous play, and unadulterated love erased in 45 seconds of distraction. Thanks for your feedback.
