Nature’s Flags #34

Prayer flags are flown in many cultures and in many places. From mountain tops to back yards, these flags offer peace, harmony, positive energy and blessings. The wind spreads these invisible prayers to people who suffer as well as to the earth below.

I view my daily practice of posting an image as my way of offering a prayer in a troubled world and a reminder of our connection to each other, the earth and our own communities.

Patterns always catch my eye. When I happened upon these snow fences, what I saw were sails. Little ships blowing across the front range, accompanied by the froth of golden flower waves.
