My Daily Smile #51

I have not missed the news. I am aware of the crumbling infrastructures around the world. Yes, it is painful and I have chosen to add light with images of nature and our beloved home- Earth – as my daily practice.

With all that is happening, there are also small moments that bring a smile and at times, a delightful laugh for me. I am also aware that humor is in the eye of the beholder. However, here are scenes that qualify in my book.

I hope you have animals and friends in your life that bring you lightness.

My cat Billy has always been demonstrably affectionate. Every night he joins me in the bathroom as I prepare for sleep. He often jumps from the counter to my shoulder and watches to see what I’ll do next. His eyes have me grabbing my phone for a mirror-selfie.
