I have not missed the news. I am aware of the crumbling infrastructures around the world. Yes, it is painful and I have chosen to add light with images of nature and our beloved home- Earth – as my daily practice.
With all that is happening, there are also small moments that bring a smile and at times, a delightful laugh for me. I am also aware that humor is in the eye of the beholder. However, here are scenes that qualify in my book.

This farm offered ‘You pick ‘um Pumpkins.’ After Halloween the cows were turned out in the field to feast on the rejects. I captured this calf, contemplating how to eat a pumpkin like his mom was doing. Brave little guy!
When the calves were turned out in the field that used to be the Corn Maze, this little one pulled up a stalk with the root ball still attached and was flinging it up and down like an old sock.
Babies of all species can’t help but play.
