I have not missed the news. I am aware of the crumbling infrastructures around the world. Yes, it is painful and I have chosen to add light with images of nature and our beloved home- Earth – as my daily practice.
With all that is happening, there are also small moments that bring a smile and at times, a delightful laugh for me. I am also aware that humor is in the eye of the beholder. However, here are scenes that qualify in my book.

A grackle meeting on a warm stop light. I imagine only what they are each saying.
“I got a better spot than you.” “I’m all alone, guess nobody likes me.” “Let’s drop down to that puddle and take a bath.” “That big tree over there is way too crowded, I’m staying right here and watch cars, maybe even poop on a couple.”
