At seventy eight, I think about the kind of world we will leave to our children and their children. Then I think about who is making decisions and supporting the policies currently being made by our representatives. Our law-makers.
Curiosity got the best of me, here is what I learned: In the Senate, of 100 members, the median age is 64.7 years old. The oldest ten are 92,84,83,82,81,80,79, and 78.
In the House of Representatives comprised of 435 voting members, the average age is 57.5. The oldest ten are 88, 87, 85, 84.

Wouldn’t it make sense to support younger politicians? Millennials are now 35 to 40 years old now. Gen Z is coming right behind them. I don’t know about you, but these young people are more in touch with the realities of our world than us old folks. Let’s support them.
