I look at reflection in two ways.
One, I find gazing at a reflection mirrored in quiet water to be a moment that is restful, tranquil, and peaceful for my spirit.

The other way is in relationships.
If someone is really annoying me, rather than judge, I’ve learned to take time, reflect and ask myself, ‘What behavior are they demonstrating? Are they mirroring a part of myself I don’t want to see?’ (They usually are!) By reflecting in this way, I have learned more about myself and developed compassion for how complicated each of us is.
This is why I treasure every one of my friendships.
