Dear friends
If you have read any of my stories over the past years, you will know I have tried to capture the process of moving deeper into my life. I have written about my emotional journey, accompanied by pictures to add beauty to this challenging process.

I hoped to illuminate and normalize the path. To assure those readers who have chosen to explore beyond the patterns laid down in childhood, that as uncomfortable as this process is, it is ultimately life affirming.

I have heard it described as moving beyond the reference framework. The scaffolding we learned from both our families, our lineage and the culture into which we were born.

2024 was an arduous one and I celebrated a completion of sorts on my 77th birthday.
Well, the joke is on me!

For some unknown reason, one of the requisites of my life seems to be exploring my own depths. To continue to learn and discover all that I can in order to arrive at compassion. First for myself and then for every other being I encounter.

This past month, however, the discoveries continue but are so personal, I am feeling protective and private. Consequently, I won’t be sharing stories for a while.

I have truly appreciated each of your comments as they have encouraged me to keep writing about my process. Thank you. You know who you are.
I see now, I was seeking external validation and approval as well as companions on my journey.

I will continue to photograph the world around me. To capture the wonder of our earth and her beings as Nature emerges from the quiet, snowy cold and winter morphs into spring.

With Gratitude, Blessings and Love
Elizabeth
Beautiful, E. The photographs, of course, AND the choices you are making for yourself! Know you are accompanied, with or without words. Big love from here. Lynda.

Dear Septuagenarian:
I hope we will continue to be able to savor your perspectives on the vital beneficence that nature and animals contribute to our emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. The simplicity and clarity of your art reminds me of Andrew Wyeth. They truly are windows into the soul.
