I have not missed the news. I am aware of the crumbling infrastructures around the world. Yes, it is painful and I have chosen to add light with images of nature and our beloved home- Earth – as my daily practice.
With all that is happening, there are also small moments that bring a smile and at times, a delightful laugh for me. I am also aware that humor is in the eye of the beholder. However, here are scenes that qualify in my book.
I hope you have animals and friends in your life that bring you lightness.
Maisie can’t help but notice the aroma of fresh Palisade peaches. She thinks I can’t see her trying to snag a piece with her fingernail while her brother, Billy looks askance at her bravery.

There are so many things about this picture that I just love…. the color blast of the flowers and peaches, the composition, but mostly…. THOSE EYES PEERING FROM UNDERNEATH THE COUNTERTOP!!! Wow, if those eyes could speak….
