Time is an interesting concept. There are different ways of measuring it and what it means. What I know is that each of us has an expiration date, but the ink on the label is blurred and unreadable.
The only thing for certain is we have this moment. Like trying to capture the sun behind a cloud, if one doesn’t have a camera, the moment is gone. My images try to capture one moment in time to share with you.

A lone sentinel.
Even in death, its caramel bark and silvery arms stand guard over a pasture of verdant grasses and saffron blossoms. To my eye, it is still beautiful.

Thank you JC. I visited that location yesterday (May 2nd) and it was tragic to see the same lush meadow all brown, and the pond almost gone from this winter’s drought. You will be so delighted to return to Oregon. Love E
