It’s a challenge to find beauty in air crowded with wildfire smoke and the thermostat dancing between 90 and 100+ degrees.

Yet beauty is there. I simply need to wipe off the sweat and look. Mother nature never disappoints.

Reading a book, after working outdoors, with a cat napping beside me is a survival reward. Billy is always happy to accompany me. On July 14th, I finally gave in and turned on the airconditioning.
